It was a session that elevated the sector, and included the CEO of Panjiva and CIO from ASML and shared their experience.
Wesley together with Bert Buis (founder) and Eric van Tol (chairman of the board) highlighted the possibilities of sharing data and explained future ambitions. Besides the success factors of the Floridata services, Wesley also tipped of the World Floriculture Map by Rabobank and the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative.
The session was concluded with the question on how diverse parties from different sectors could create more insights by sharing data. Wesley sees chances here to further improve and monitor the worldwide trade channels, from grower to consumer.
